Analysis of Volatile Oils in Leaves of Loropetalum chinense and L.chinense var.rubrum Using Simultanuous Distillation and Solvent Extraction (SDE) and GC-MS
[Objective ] The aim was to compare volatile oils component of Loropetalum chinense and L. Chnreuse var. Rubruin, and provide basis for development and utilization. [Method] Volatile oils were extracted from three kinds of leaves, including the leaves of L chinense, the green and red leaves of L. Chinense var. Rubrum, with the simultanuous distillation and solvent extraction (SDE) device. They were divided and identified by GC-MS. [Results] The results showed that there were 44,55 and 36 components separated from related leaves,25,21,23 components had been I dentified, which accounted for 74.11% ,83.94% ,76. 88% of the total extraction, respectively. The more abundant components in the extraction were as follows:3-Hexen-l-ol, (Z) - ( 38. 79% , 12. 73% ,30. 47% ), n-Hexadecanoic acid (5. 31% , 17. 47% ,6. 02% ) , Octadecanoic acid (1.99% ,5.03% ,2.55% ) ,Oleic acid (2.63% ,33.31% ,9.13% ). [Conclusion] These components could be used in many fields such as medi cine and health care, spices, food additive and antibiotic insecticide.
