Study on Fruit Qualities and Sucrose-metabolizing Enzymes in Citrus reticulata Blanco var.kinokuni(Tanaka) H.H.Hu from Six Different Places
[Objective] To explore the different fruit quality of C. reticulate, and its relations with sucrose-metabolizing enzymes,so as to provide references for the appropriate production, protecting the brand and developing the rare species of C. reticulate. [Method] The quality characteristics and sucrose-metabolizing enzymes in C. reticulate from six different places were studied. [Result] The C. reticulate produced in Nanfeng County had higher contents of total sugar, especially reducing sugar,sugar-acid ratio, and solid-acid ratio than that produced in other regions,it reflected superior quality. The types and contents of soluble sugar were different in different areas. Through the correlation analysis of the sucrose neutral invertase (NI) activity and the reducing sugar, sucrose synthase (SS) ,sucrose phosphate synthase (SPS) activity and sucrose content, the content of reducing sugar was positively correlated with N1 activity, sugar content was significantly correlated with SPS and SS activity. [Conclusion] The study results provided references for the planting area and quality of C. reticulate.
