Effect of PEG Stress on Seed Germination and Seedlings Growth of Rye( Secale cereal L.)
[Objective]The purpose was to provide a scientific basis for popularization and utilization of Yugu 19.[Method]A new millet va riety Yugu 19 was bred from Yugu No 1 x Jigu 19. Its breeding process, characteristics and cultivation technology were introduced, and dis cussed its popularization value and production potentiality.[Result]In regional trail of 2010 -2011, Yugu 19' s average yield was 5 028. 2 kg/hm2, increasing 6.99% comparing with control Jigu 19, ranking 2 among total tested varieties; There were 20 test points increasing among 23 test points of 2 years, rising range was 0.43% -25.84% , the ratio of test points of increasing yield was 86.96%.[Conclusion]Yugu 19 shows a good high yield and adaptability. It passes the identification of National Commission for New Millet Varieties Identification.
