Analysis of the Lodging Resistance of WD153, A Two-line Hybrid Indica Rice
[Objective] The aim was to reveal the reason for WD153' s stronger lodging resistance.[Method] Comparing with WD153's parents and the same types of main cultivars,the stem and root traits of the two-line hybrid indica WD153 had been measured and analyzed.[Result] The results showed that WD153 had the modest height and stronger flexural strength comparing with the other varieties,while for the traits of roots,it had more root numbers and obvious advantages in root length.[Conclusion] WD153 shows smaller lodging index and stronger lodging resistance.
