Allelopathy of Sesame to Echinochloa crusgalli(L.) Beauv and Its Evaluation on Field Ecological Value
[Objective] To verify the allelopathy of sesame in ancient agriculture literatures, and to screen the variety suitable for generalization.[Method] Ten varieties of sesame were selected. The methods of laboratory bioassay and field planting were adopted;comprehensive ecological value evaluation system was constructed.[Result] The variety of Ganzhi 3 had the greatest inhibitory effects on E.crusgalli;root length decreased by 20.270 mm compared with the control, showing significant differences.S05 had the strongest inhibitory effects on weeds, and only 8 kinds of weeds were not found.Field diversity index had relatively great differences among varieties.Wuningli black sesame had the highest yield. There were no significant differences between the varieties of sesame.[Conclusion]There are differences in allelopathy between the varieties of sesame.Wuningli black sesame has the greatest comprehensive ecological benefit.
