摘要
蓖麻具有较强的抗逆性（抗旱、抗盐、抗重金属等），是土壤改良的优良作物，其根部发挥着重要的作用。蓖麻根的化学成分具有较高的药用价值，是良好的中草药。从蓖麻根的形态特征和功能、抗逆性、土壤改良以及化学成分的药用价值等方面对蓖麻根的研究进展进行了综述。

Castor has a strong resistance to stress (drought, salt, heavy metal, etc.), is a good crop of soil improvement, its roots play an im-portant role.The chemical composition of castor root has high medicinal value, it is a good herbal medicine.The research advances of castor root were elaborated from aspects of morphology features and function, resistance, soil improvement and medicinal value of chemical composition.
