By using AHP method, the evaluation index system of geological environment carrying capacity in study area was established con-taining two aspects of geological environment and geological disasters, weight of each indicator was determined by entropy weight method, the geological environment carrying capacity in Huaping County was evaluated, and the geological environmental carrying capacity was divided into low bearing capacity, medium bearing capacity and higher bearing capacity.The results indicated that geological environment carrying capacity of Huaping County is medium carrying capacity.Finally, aiming at existing problems in geological environment of Huaping County, corre-sponding suggestions were proposed.
