According to the daily thunderstorm monitoring data of Zhenjiang City in 1961 -2011, thunderstorm climate characteristics were analyzed by linear fitting, wavelet analysis and M-K test and other methods.Results showed that the annual thunderstorm days presented a de-creasing trend and obvious seasonal changes in recent 51 years.Thunderstorm days were the most in summer and the least in winter.Average monthly thunderstorm days in different cities all showed single peak, and the thunderstorm days were the most in July.Annual thunderstorm days in Zhenjiang City had about 6a long cycle interannual variation.The mutation year of annual thunderstorm days was 1966 in Zhenjiang City.
