Objective] The aim was to explore the change of inorganic carbon in water during the process of outbreak to extinction of cyanobac-terial bloom,to provide basis for formulating effective control measures of cyanobacterial bloom.[Method] Inorganic carbon and planktonic algae concentration in water body of Fubao Bay ecological restoration area in Dianchi Lake was analyzed,temporal and spatial dynamic change and rele-vant influencing factors of DIC in eutrophic water body were studied.[ Result] The results indicated that the concentration of chlorophyll a was extremely significant positive correlated with CO32 -(P<0.01) and pH values(P<0.05);and the concentration of chlorophyll a was extremely significant negative correlated with CO2(P<0.01),DIC and HCO3 -( P<0.05).[Conclusion] The outbreak and extinction of cyanobacterial bloom is an important reason for the drastic change of inorganic carbon form and concentration.
