Effects of CaCl2 on the Content of Osmotic Adjustment Substances in Soybean Seedlings under Salt Stress
Objective ] The aim was to provide rationalization proposals for soybean planting in soil salinization area , and increase soybean yield.[Method] By using pot cultured soybean, effects of 10,15 and 20 mmol/L exogenous CaCl2on osmotic adjustment substances in soybean seedlings under NaCl 150mmol/L stress were studied.[Result] Applying 150 mmol/L NaCl on soybean seedling in three leaf stage, the content of soluble sugar and soluble protein were significantly higher than (P<0.05) that in the blank control group, and the proline content was de-creased significantly (P<0.05); spraying 10 mmol/L CaCl2 treatment group was compared with the salt control group, the contents of proline and soluble sugar were increased significantly (P<0.05), soluble protein was significantly decreased (P<0.05); spraying 15 mmol/L CaCl2 treatment group was compared with salt control group, the content of osmotic substances were increased, the soluble sugar, proline content were increased significantly (P<0.05), soluble protein was not significant(P>0.05); spraying 20 mmol/L CaCl2 treatment group was compared with the salt control group, soluble sugar, soluble protein content were decreased, but did not reach significant level (P>0.05), and the proline content was increased significantly (P<0.05).[Conclusion]The effect of exogenous CaCl2 on the content of osmotic adjustment substances of soybean seedlings under salt stress showed that 15 mmol/L CaCl2 had the best effect.
