Analysis of Soil Nutrient Characteristics in Tobacco Planting Area of Anning
The study was conducted to study the soil nutrient status in tobacco planting areas in Anning. The soil samples, collected from Bajie,Xianjie,Caopu,Lubiao four townships of Anning County, were analyzed. The results indicated that most soils in tobacco planting areas of Anning were weakly acidic and neutral, and some were alkelescent. The contents of organic matter were in the medium level to high level. The soil was found to be rich in available nitrogen and available phosphorus. The available potassium contents in most of soils were in the medium level to low level, and some were in the low level to lack level. On the basis of these results,it can be suggested that the N,P and K content along with paying attention to nitrogen fertilization time and raising the utilization ratio of phosphate, potassium fertiliser need to be taken into consideration and corrected by proper fertilizer management to sustain the high productivity of the flu-cured tobacco.
