Distribution of Wild Plant Paranephelium hainanensis with Extremely Small Populations in Sanya
[Objective] The aim was to study the habitat and wild population distribution of Paranephelium hainanensis species with extremely small populations in Sanya City. [ Method] The distribution of P. hainanensis species was investigated by field investigation. [ Result] P. hain-anensis concentrated distribution in Luobidong and Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, with a total population of less than 100 mature individuals. In the horizontal direction, the distribution of P. hainanensis in Sanya was discontinuous, aggregated distribution and narrow. The spread by seed germination and root-sprouting, but was no seedlings under the forest. The natural regeneration of P. hainanensis was difficult, which the habitat was disturbed seriously human destruction. [ Conclusion] Habitat fragmentation and biological and ecological characteristics of P. hainanensis were important factors for population regeneration.
