Effects Comparison of Five Frequently-used Pesticides in Preventing the Second Generation of Rice Stem Borer
[Objective] The aim was to understand the control effect of several common pesticides on rice stem borer.[Method] We studied the control effect of 95% monosultap,0.5% emamectinbenzoate + 30% chlorpyrifos,6.7% flubendiamide + 2.3% avermectin,40% chlorantra-niliprole + thiamethoxm and 20% chlorantraniliprole on rice stem borer.[Result] Seven days after pesticide use,the effects of protecting seedling of 0.5% emamectin benzoate + 30% chlorpyrifos,6.7% flubendiamide + 2.3% avermectin and 40% chlorantraniliprole + thiamethoxm were better, which were 83.36%,80.62% and 84.71%,respectively.And the effect of protecting seedling of 20% chlorantraniliprole was 77.54%,followed by the 95% monosultap, with 62.69%.Twenty days after pesticide use,the effects of the pesticides had no significant difference. However, those of 6.7% flubendiamide + 2.3% avermectin,20% chlorantraniliprole and 40% chlorantraniliprole + thiamethoxm were slightly better, which were 92.40%,94.47% and 91.04%,respectively.95% monosultap and 0.5% emamectinbenzoate + 30% chlorpyrifos were less effective, their effects were 87.08% and 89.55%,respectively;twenty days after pesticide use,the control effects of 6.7% flubendiamide + 2.3% avermectin and 20% chlorantraniliprole were 81.58% and 96.45%,which were best. And 95% monosultap and 40% chlorantraniliprole + thiamethoxm were 59.60% and 34.71%,respectively.The worst was 0.5% emamectinbenzoate + 30% chlorpyrifos, and it only reached 26.31%.[Conclusion] The results provide reference for the control of rice stem borer.
