Polygonatum sibiricum is a Chinese medicinal herb that can be used as both medicine and food.It has the effects of moistening the lungs,nourishing the kidneys,tonifying the spleen,and tonifying qi.Due to the rapid growth of market demand,wild Polygonatum resources can no longer meet market demand,which has led to the continuous expansion of the scale of artificially cultivated Polygonatum.Scientific and rea-sonable fertilization methods can promote the growth and development of traditional Chinese medicine,thereby increasing its output.This article is based on existing research,summarizing the fertilization and cultivation models of Polygonatum sibiricum,the current problems and proposing suggestions,in order to provide reference for the future development and utilization of Polygonatum sibiricum.
