Enriching the germplasm resources of local new high quality aromatic rice varieties and promoting the local planting of new high quality aromatic rice varieties will help to meet the needs of consumers and promote the sustainable and stable development of the rice indus-try.In view of this,five new high quality aromatic rice varieties were introduced to carry out comparative tests,and the tested varieties were analyzed from the aspects of growth period,agronomic traits,yield and resistance,providing a theoretical basis for their further popularization and planting.The results showed that the growth period of new high quality aromatic rice varieties such as 19 Xiang,Lixiangzhan,Nanjingxian-gzhan and Xiangxuesimiao was moderate,the plant height,ear length and total grain number per ear were significantly higher than that of Meixiangzhan 2(CK),and the disease resistance was good.The yield was significantly different from that of Meixiangzhan 2(CK),which was suitable for planting in Zhaoqing.
