By measuring the content of complement and immunoglobulin in the serum of the second generation of Minxinan black rabbits fed in different areas with different ages and different genders,the non-specific immunity of Minxinan black rabbits fed in different areas were evalua-ted,so as to provide references for the disease resistance characteristics study of Minxinan black rabbits.The results showed that there were sig-nificant differences in the content of complement 3(C3),complement 4(C4)and immunoglobulin M(IgM),immunoglobulin G(IgG)in the serum of Minxinan black rabbit at different day ages(P<0.05).The content of C3 in the serum of 150-day-old Minxinan black rabbits was sig-nificantly higher than that of 70-day-old Minxinan black rabbits(P<0.05),and the content of C4,IgM and IgG in the serum of 150-day-old Minxinan black rabbit was significantly lower than that of 70-day-old Minxinan black rabbits(P<0.05).There were sex differences in serum complement and immunoglobulin contents in young rabbits(70 day-age)of Minxinan black rabbits and Hycole commercial rabbits(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in adult rabbits of Minxinan black rabbits(150-day-age)between male and female rabbits(P>0.05).The content of complement and immunoglobulin in the serum had difference among different breeds(lines)of rabbits,the contents of C4 and IgG in the serum of Minxinan black rabbit were significantly higher than those of Hycole commercial rabbit(P<0.05),which would provide powerful materials for rabbit breeding in the future.
