Ecological Effects Study on Disease Resistance and Yield Stability of Different Genotypes of Maize Intercropping
In 2020-2021,the effects of intercropping of different maize genotypes on multiple disease resistance and yield were studied using the main maize in Henan Province as materials, aiming at providing theoretical basis for farmers in Henan Province.Dedan 5,Denghai 605,Zhongkeyu 505 and Yufeng 303 were used as materials to study the effects of intercropping on population yield,as well as the incidence of stem rot, leaf spot, ear rot and southern rust. Results showed that intercropping different genotypes of maize could improve the resistance of the composite population to stem rot, small leaf spot, ear rot and southern rust compared to monocropping. The yield of intercropping was signifi-cantly higher than that of monocropping each variety, with significant yield increase benefits.Intercropping between Dedan 5 and Denghai 605 could improve the yield of the composite population and ensure the stability of yield.
