Study on Diurnal Variation of Photosynthetic and Chlorophyll Fluorescence Characteristics of Phragmites australis in Yancheng Coastal Freshwater Wetland
[Objective]To explore the photosynthetic characteristics and chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics of Phragmites australis in Yancheng coastal freshwater wetland.[Method]Taking Phragmites australis in Yancheng coastal freshwater wetland as the research object, the diurnal changes of photosynthetic parameters and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of Phragmites australis in coastal freshwater wetlands were measured and compared with Phragmites australis in coastal salt marshes.[Result]The diurnal variation of net photosynthetic rate,stoma-tal conductance, transpiration rate and intercellular CO2 concentration of Phragmites australis in the coastal freshwater wetland of Yancheng presented a double peak pattern, the diurnal variation of water use efficiency showed a"U"pattern. The diurnal variation of electron transfer rate had a downward trend as a whole, and the diurnal variation of non photochemical quenching coefficient and actual photochemical quantum efficiency presented an inverted"U"pattern and a"U"pattern, respectively. The net photosynthetic rate of Phragmites australis in coastal freshwater wetland was higher than that in coastal salt marsh wetland, and it had stronger photosynthetic capacity.[Conclusion]Compared with coastal salt marsh wetlands,Phragmites australis in Yancheng coastal freshwater wetland has stronger photosynthetic carbon fixation capacity.
