Study on Stand Structure and Biomass Model of Eucalyptus at Different Ages
In order to reveal the structural characteristics and biomass distribution of Eucalyptus stands at different ages, the spatial substitution time method and typical sampling method were used to comprehensively analyze the structural rules of Eucalyptus robusta plantation at different ages(2,4 and 6 years old)and biomass distribution models at different stages in Qintang Forest Farm,Guigang City,Guangxi. The results showed that the DBH and tree height of eucalyptus plantation changed significantly with the growth of forest age,and the variation range of DBH and tree height also gradually increased with the increase of forest age. With the increase of forest age,the diameter grade increases, and the proportion value of each diameter grade changes in a single peak.At the age of 6 years, the proportion of the large diameter grade(d>20 cm)in the stand is 55.72%,and the 6-year old eucalyptus is the suitable rotation age.The fitting of biomass of single eucalyptus at different forest ages showed that the polynomial fitting degree was the best, and with the increase of the forest age,the fitting accuracy of the total biomass was higher, its determination coefficient was 0.962 7,and the fitting equation of the total biomass at the age of 6 years was y=-6E-07x2+0.037 8x-50.993 0.
