Research on Regional Differences and Convergence of Agricultural Green Development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt
Based on the provincial Panel data of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2012 to 2021,this study uses the entropy weight meth-od to evaluate the agricultural green development level of 9 provinces and 2 cities in the economic belt, uses the Theil index to analyze the differences in agricultural green development level among regions, and uses σ convergence to test its convergence. The results showed that:①The level of agricultural green development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is not high, and it shows a tortuous development trend.Among various regions, the middle reaches have the highest level of agricultural green development, with the downstream being in the middle and the upstream being the lowest. However, there is not much difference between the three.②The development trend of the inter regional difference index is highly similar to the overall index development trend of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Although there is an increase in the middle,it still shows a decreasing trend. The overall development trend of agricultural green development capacity in the Yangtze River Economic Belt region is extremely flat.Among various regions, only the differences in the upstream regions showed an increasing trend, while the other re-gions showed fluctuations, ultimately showed a decreasing trend.③The σ convergence development trend is relatively consistent with the devel-opment trend of the Thiel index.Although there are fluctuations in the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the middle and lower reaches, the differences in agricultural green development levels among different regions show a narrowing trend, with certain convergence characteristics.Only the upstream shows a divergence trend in the final stage, without showing σ convergence characteristics.
