Research on the Spatio-temporal Evolution of Digital Rural Development Level in the Yangtze River Economic Belt
Digital rural construction is the product of the development and reform of digital economy, which is of great significance for China to achieve the strategic goal of rural revitalization.Taking the digital villages in 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt of China as the research object, based on the panel data from 2013 to 2020,from the four dimensions of digital rural capital investment, digital rural information foundation, digital service foundation, and digital industry development, the indicator system of China's digital rural develop-ment level was constructed, and the entropy method was used to evaluate the digital rural development level. The research found that the digital development level of digital village is improving year by year, but the regional differences are large. The development level is basically in the middle stream-downstream-upstream gradually declining.Among them, the investment capacity of digital rural funds fluctuates greatly,show-ing a wave like upward trend;the information base of digital village is a U-shaped structure with high upstream and downstream and low mid-stream;the basic areas of digital rural services differ greatly, showing an inverted"W"pattern;the overall development of digital rural indus-try is relatively slow, with a similar growth rate.Accordingly, the paper puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions to promote the high-quality development of digital villages.
