Research Characteristics and Evolution Trend of Rural Tourism in China from 2000 to 2020 Based on CiteSpace
Based on the relevant data of Peking University core journals and China Social Sciences Citation Index(CSSCI)in CNKI database from 2000 to 2020,we carried out a visual analysis of the development status of China's rural tourism with the help of information visualization software CiteSpace,and drew the relevant knowledge map of rural tourism research.The bibliometric method was used to clarify the research hotspots,directions and trends of rural tourism in China in 2000-2020,and to provide certain theoretical support and policy suggestions for ru-ral revitalization and rural development in the new era.Results showed that the annual number of documents issued by rural tourism showed an increasing trend,and the degree of attention was increasing.It has shown a rapid growth stage from 2005 to 2011 and since 2015.Rural revital-ization,countermeasures,development model,tourism development,tourism poverty alleviation,rural and ecological civilization were the hot spots of domestic rural tourism research.The cluster analysis of keywords showed that 2000-2015 was the stage focusing on rural tourism devel-opment,and 2015-2020 was the stage focusing on rural tourism protection.Rural tourism needed to be strengthened in cross institutional re-search,cross regional research and interdisciplinary research.The regional distribution of rural tourism resources made its research more prac-tical and regional.The sustainable development and protection of rural tourism resources in the future was the focus of attention.
