Current Situation and Development Suggestions of Sweet Potato Industry in Northeast Chongqing
By consulting the production and variety application of sweet potato in 11 districts and counties in Northeast Chongqing,the current situation of sweet potato industry was analyzed.Based on the development trend of sweet potato industry,suggestions for the development and variety promotion of sweet potato industry in Northeast Chongqing were proposed as follows:actively introducing and cultivating sweet potato processing enterprises,and vigorously developing new products for sweet potato intensive processing;selecting planting varieties according to local conditions and establish and improving the seed tuber and seedling breeding system of sweet potato;comprehensively promoting the devel-opment of industrial integration,and increasing policy support and scientific and technological services.
