Research on the Bird Biodiversity and Protection Strategies in Jiangshan Xianxialing Provincial Nature Reserve
During the over-wintering season of 2019 and the breeding season of 2020,fixed distance sampling method and infrared camera monitoring method were used to investigate bird resources in the Jiangshan Xianxialing Provincial Nature Reserve. The results showed that there were 150 species of birds in the Xianxialing Nature Reserve, belonging to 46 families,15 orders.Among them, two species were nation-al first-class key protected birds, namely Syrmaticus elliotti and Tragopan caboti.Sixteen species were national second-class key protected birds, including Aviceda leuphotes,Accipiter soloensis, and Spilornis cheela,etc..From the faunal composition, oriental species(85 species,ac-counting for 56.67%)was main distribution type of the birds in the nature reserve, and resident birds(82 species, accounting for 54.67%)was main residence type.F index of the birds in the nature reserve was 21.61,G-F index of the birds in the nature reserve was 0.91,which indicated that the species diversity of the birds in the nature reserve was high and the distribution of the families and genera was reasonable.G index was 1.91,which indicated that the intergeneric difference was low.In addition, the human activities in the nature reserve were fre-quent,the ecosystem had high sensitivity and vulnerability.By strengthening the publicity on bird protection, conducting the research on the living habits of birds, and strictly dealing with illegal activities of bird hunting and other protection strategies, the biodiversity of birds would be significantly improved.
