Research on the Coupled and Coordinated Development of New Urbanization and Intensive Utilization of Cultivated Land in Xinjiang
This article takes 14 prefectures in Xinjiang as the research object, constructs an evaluation index system for new urbanization and intensive use of arable land, and comprehensively uses methods such as entropy method and coupling coordinated development model to study the comprehensive development level and spatiotemporal characteristics of the coupling coordinated development level between the two systems in Xinjiang from 2010 to 2020.The results show that the development level of new urbanization in Xinjiang is on the rise as a whole, but there are large differences among regions.Except for Urumqi, the development potential of new urbanization in other regions is still strong.Although the level of intensive use of cultivated land in the whole region is on the rise, the overall effect is not obvious. The level of intensive use of cul-tivated land is generally low except for Kashgar and Altay. In addition, the coupling and coordination degree of the two systems is mainly con-centrated between"near imbalance"and"moderate coordination".Therefore,on the basis of existing resources,Xinjiang should adjust meas-ures to local conditions, steadily promote the construction of new urbanization, and simultaneously improve the intensive utilization of arable land, strengthen financial and technological investment, improve infrastructure,in order to coordinate development.
