Study on the Income Effect of Farmers' Participation in New Forestry Management Entities
In order to explore the impact of participating in new forestry management entities on farmers' income,the following conclusions were drawn through the questionnaire survey of farmers in Mayang County,Baojing County,Changsha County,and with the use of multiple line-ar regression model and instrumental variables estimation method:joining the new forestry management entity can significantly increase farm-ers' household income and forestry income;after introducing the instrumental variables estimation to solve the endogeneity problem,the regres-sion results can still verify the significant impact of new forestry management entities on farmers' income,but the coefficient of this variable has become larger;from the results of heterogeneity analysis,there were significant regional differences in the impact of joining new forestry man-agement entities on farmers' income.Based on the above analysis,this article suggests:strengthening policy support for new forestry business entities,such as cold storage construction,production equipment procurement,logistics system construction,brand protection,etc;enhancing farmers' satisfaction with new forestry business entities through positive publicity and various measures to benefit farmers,such as seedling cul-tivation,technical training,agricultural material procurement,and forest product procurement,in order to attract more farmers to join the new forestry business entities;implementing support policies for new forestry management entities tailored to local conditions.
