Impact of Urban Land Use Diversity on Population Density in Hunan Province
The decrease of urban population density has become one of the important factors restricting the development of some cities and towns.Taking Hunan Province as a case,this paper explores the relationship between urban population density and land use diversity based on the geographical weighted regression model,and the Pressure-State-Response model was constructed to explore the impact path of urban land use diversity on population density in Hunan Province.The results showed that:①There is an obvious spatial correlation between urban popu-lation density and land use diversity of urban construction land in Southern Province,but the aggregation trend is opposite.②Simplified way if urban construction land use is not conducive to the diversity of the urban land use of Hunan Province,is unfavorable to the promotion of urban population density of Hunan Province,the industrial layout can guide the promotion of Hunan Province,focus on economic development,im-prove the urban public service capacity is improve the urban land use diversity,in turn,the effective method to improve the density of urban population.③There is a weak negative correlation between the added value of secondary and tertiary industries and urban population density in Hunan Province,and the pattern is"high in the south and low in the north".④ The correlation between disposable income of urban residents and urban population density in Hunan Province shows a pattern of"high in the northwest and low in the southeast",and there is a boundary between positive and negative correlation in the central urban area of Changsha.Finally,some policy suggestions are put forward from the as-pects of optimizing the urban function system to deal with the problems left over from history and promote the orderly increase of population density.
