Research on the Impact of Rural E-commerce on Chinese Farmers' Income——Based on Inter-provincial Panel Data
In order to explore the impact of rural e-commerce on farmers' income, the fixed effect model and quantile model were used for empirical analysis based on the panel data of 25 provinces during 2016-2020. The results show that rural e-commerce has a significant promo-ting effect on farmers' income, but there is heterogeneity, and the promoting effect on low-income farmers is stronger. The influence of rural e-commerce on farmers' income shows an inverted U-shaped trend. Rural e-commerce has a heterogeneous impact on farmers' income sources, that is,the impact of rural e-commerce on operational income, wage income, transfer income and property income decreases succes-sively. In order to promote the sustainable growth of farmers' income,it is necessary to further improve the infrastructure construction in rural areas, promote the deep integration of rural e-commerce and farmers' income structure, and formulate specific policies and measures.
