Essential oils are expensive and have the name of "liquid gold".It has a strong aroma and is widely used in food,cosmetics and tobacco.Studying the extraction and application of rose essential oil will improve the economic efficiency of the essential oil industry.This paper reviews the extraction methods and advantages and disadvantages of rose essential oil in recent years,and introduces the antioxidant,antibacte-rial and anti-anxiety properties of rose essential oil,and summarizes the application of rose essential oil in daily life.This paper also presents an outlook on the subsequent development of essential oil applications in order to provide some theoretical support for the development and researchof the extraction and application of rose essential oil.
