Study on the Ecological Adaptability of 8 Syringa spp.in Hangzhou Area
In order to promote the breeding of new varieties of Syringa spp. and their promotion and application in the Hangzhou area,the eco-logical adaptability of eight Syringa spp.,namely Zhuoyue,Boka,Jimu,Aisaisi,Palibin,Suogena,Syringa pinnatifolia Hemsl and Xiaobuwuqu, in the Hangzhou area was studied.And its phenology,growth characteristics,ornamental value,heat resistance,and resistance to diseases and pests were observed and analyzed. The results showed that the ecological adaptability of the eight Syringa spp. was different. Early spring can grow well,with bright and fragrant flowers,and a longer viewing period. Among them,Zhuoyue and Sogner varieties have the strongest heat re-sistance,with a heat resistance level of GradeⅠ,which can smoothly weather the summer and has good promotion value,suitable for promotion and application in the Hangzhou area.
