Investigation and Analysis of Street Trees in Hailing District of Taizhou City
The application status of street tree species in 30 main roads and secondary roads in Hailing District of Taizhou City was investiga-ted by sampling survey method, and the species, quantity and diameter class structure of street trees were analyzed. The results showed that there were 35 species and 63757 trees from 33 genera and 20 families in Hailing District. The ratio of deciduous leaves to evergreen was 2.5∶1. On the whole, the street tree size is obviously smaller, and the diameter level of the street tree is in grade Ⅰ, accounting for 39.53％ of the total number of street trees. 34.63％ were in the range of class Ⅱ(15～<20 cm);the third place is in grade Ⅲ(20～<25 cm), accounting for 15.28％;the number of grade Ⅳ (≥25 cm) was the least, accounting for 10.56％. There were some problems, such as single species, blind tree species selection and inadequate tree species conservation and management, and suggestions for optimization were put forward.
