Forest tree breeding is a key course for forestry majors in agricultural and forestry universities.It is a discipline that studies the prin-ciples and techniques of selecting and breeding excellent forest varieties under the guidance of genetic evolution theory.Its highest goal is to se-lect excellent varieties of forest trees,provide the most basic,high-quality,and efficient means of production for forestry production,and is the lifeblood of forestry and the driving force for promoting the development of the forestry industry.It is playing an increasingly important role in the construction of ecological civilization and a beautiful China. In order to make it easier for students to understand and master the theoretical knowledge of forest tree breeding,deepen the integration of science and education,promote the cultivation of innovative talents,and improve the collaborative education mechanism,during the teaching process of forest tree breeding,by connecting theoretical knowledge with production practice,integrating the forefront of science and technology into classroom teaching,and carrying out teaching reform using a scientific research platform to assist experimental teaching,not only enriched the teaching content,but also stimulated students' enthusiasm for learning.It not only deepens the understanding of theoretical knowledge,but also facilitates the cultivation of students' good scientific research literacy and the im-provement of their innovative ability.
