Research on Digital Economy and Its Spatial Spillover Effect on Urban-Rural Integration in Hubei Province
Based on the panel data of Hubei Province during 2015-2022, using the space panel model to select the best Dubin model the im-pact and spatial spillover effect of digital economy on urban-rural integration and its neighboring areas were analyzed from three aspects of technological innovation, industrial upgrading, and resource allocation.The results show that the digital economy in Hubei Province has a sig-nificant role in promoting the development of urban and rural areas in the region, and has a positive impact on urban and rural integration and development in neighboring regions. The development of the digital economy can improve the level of urban and rural development and produce space overflowing effects. This effect reflects the trend of the proliferation of the digital economy to small and medium-sized cities, as well as the intermediary role of the digital economy in the development of urban and rural integration on resource allocation and circulation efficiency. This article recommends actively promoting the development of the digital economy, optimizing the allocation of resources, improving the effi-ciency of circulation, and promoting the development of urban and rural integration.
