Effects of Different Bio-organic Fertilizers on Rice Yield and Soil Fertility in Cadmium-contaminated Farmland
[Objective]To explore the remediation effect of bio-organic fertilizer on cadmium-contaminated farmland and ensure the safe pro-duction of rice.[Method]Cattle manure bio-organic fertilizer,biochar-based bio-organic fertilizer, soybean bio-organic fertilizer and seaweed bio-organic fertilizer were selected to carry out a two-year field experiment in paddy fields with mild cadmium pollution.Soil physical and chemical properties, soil available Cd,rice growth and yield, and brown rice Cd content were determined.[Result]The field test results showed that the application of bio-organic fertilizer increased soil pH by an average of 0.32,alkali-hydrolyzed nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium and organic matter were increased by an average of 9.38%,15.69%,10.62%and 11.64%,respectively.The plant height, panicle length, root length, panicle weight,1000-grain weight and yield of rice were increased by 5.86%,3.83%,16.54%,16.91%,7.14%and 3.65%,respectively.The available Cd content in soil decreased significantly by 0.10 mg/kg,a decrease of 39.12%,and the Cd content in brown rice decreased significantly by 45.36%.[Conclusion]Bio-organic fertilizer has a significant effect on reducing Cd bioavail-ability in soil and Cd content in rice grains, and can promote rice growth and improve soil fertility.Among them,carbon-based bio-organic fer-tilizer has the best effect, which can be used as a technical measure to ensure the safe production of rice in the future.
