Effects of Planting Density and Irrigation Amount on the Yield of Shangdou 151
In order to explore the efficient cultivation techniques of soybean variety Shangdou 151 in the eastern region of Henan, field experi-ments were conducted.Three planting densities (180000, 225000, 270000 plants/hm2) and three irrigation quotas (70, 100, 130 mm) were set up to investigate their effects on the water use efficiency, yield and composition factors of Shangdou 151.The results showed that both planting density and irrigation amount significantly affected the yield. When the planting density was E3 and the irrigation quota was W1, the yield and water use efficiency both reached the maximum values of 2491.77 kg/hm2 and 8.27 kg/(hm2·mm).The analysis of variance re-sults showed that the effects of planting density, irrigation amount and their interaction on yield traits reached a significant level, such as pod number per plant, grain number per plant and grain weight per plant.
