As the foundation of the development of Chinese civilization, farming culture is of great significance and key value to the construc-tion of a strong cultural and agricultural country.Based on the theory of planned behavior, this paper analyzes the factors that affect farmers' willingness to participate in the protection and inheritance of farming culture.Taking Liuduo Village, Wuhe County, Bengbu City, as the re-search area, data is collected through interviews and surveys, and a binary Logistic regression model is used for empirical analysis. The results show that the economic value and social value of farming culture, the promotion of neighbors and friends, the propaganda of grassroots govern-ments, the energy and ability to participate in farming cultural activities, and the level of education have significant positive effects on farmers' willingness to participate in the protection and inheritance of farming culture. Therefore, in promoting the development of farming culture, it is necessary to enhance the main body consciousness of farmers, strengthen the publicity and promotion of the government, show the economic value and social value of farming culture, encourage farmers to participate in the development of farming culture, give play to the demonstra-tion and leading role of village cadres, improve the self-efficacy of farmers, mobilize the enthusiasm of farmers to participate, and ensure the steady and orderly development of farming culture.
