Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to comprehensively evaluate the ornamental value of 40 cherry blossom varieties in the Nanchang area,the constraint layer is based on three aspects:flowering time,flowers,and viewing convenience.The standard layer is set up with 10 indexes to establish a hierarchical structure model.Establish a judgment matrix based on expert scoring and perform consistency tes-ting,then calculate the weights of each factor.The factors with higher weights include tree shape,corolla size,pedicel length,and flower quantity,which are 0.480 8,0.158 2,0.108 2,and 0.096 2,respectively.The results showed that 1 variety with an evaluation score higher than 4 points,it's Cerasus subhirtella'Ujou-shidare',6 with a score of 3.5-4.0,12 with a score of 3.0-3.5,17 with a score of 2.5-3.0,and 4 with a score below 2.5.C.spachiana f.ascendens,C.×yedoensis,C.'Miyabi',C.subhirtella'Accolade'and some other varieties scored higher.
