Study on the Composition of Volatile Substances in Leaves of Cyclocarya paliurus at different Picking Stages by Pre-column Derivat-ization and GC-MS Technology
[Objective]GC-MS technology was used to analyse the composition of volatile substances in the leaves of Cyclocarya paliurus, and to explore the differences in the content of volatile substance in 13 batches of Cyclocarya paliurus leaves at different picking periods.[Method]The volatile components of Cyclocarya paliurus leaves were extracted by methanol ultrasound, methanol heating reflux, ethanol ultrasound,eth-anol heating reflux, ethyl acetate ultrasound and n-hexane ultrasound extraction methods, respectively, and then combined with BSTFA deri-vatization method to comprehensively explore the volatile composition of Cyclocarya paliurus leaves. The difference of volatile substances con-tent in 13 batches of Cyclocarya paliurus leaves samples in different picking periods from April 15,2023 to November 1,2023 was studied.[Result]The ethyl acetate ultrasound extraction and BSTFA derivatization method could comprehensively explore the composition of volatile substances in the leaves of Cyclocarya paliurus.A total of 25 substances were identified in the study. The volatile substances in the leaves of Cyclocarya paliurus mainly included linolenic acid, palmitic acid, fructofuran, glycerol, phytol and stearic acid. The total content of fatty acids was about 50%,the small molecule organic acids, alcohols and monosaccharides were also included. There was a certain difference in the content of substances in the samples between S1-S9 and S10-S13 samples.[Conclusion]Unsaturated fatty acids were higher in Cyclocarya pa-liurus leaves picked in spring and summer, while the monosaccharides were significantly higher in autumn.
