In this experiment,the effects of different proportions of substrate on growth and quality of Houttuynia cordata were obtained by re-cording and observing various physiological indexes of growth,and the most suitable matrix ratio was selected.The results showed that the most suitable matrix ratio was peat:perlite:vermiculite=1∶2∶1 (T3),the average growth of root length was 4.61 cm,and the average growth of root nodes was 3. The soluble sugar content was 5. 78％. The peroxidase activity was 177. 89 U/( g·min). The content of VC was 137.200 mg/kg.
