Using panel data from 13 prefectures and cities in Xinjiang for the period 2011-2020,this study constructs an evaluation frame-work for high-quality agricultural development in Xinjiang from four dimensions:agriculture,environment,resources,and economy. It asses-ses the level of high-quality agricultural development in Xinjiang and employs cluster analysis to analyze spatial differences in high-quality agri-cultural development. The results indicate that the comprehensive evaluation of high-quality agricultural development in Xinjiang can be divided into three stages:a period of rapid growth (2011-2013),a period of development decline (2013-2014),and a period of stable growth (2014-2020). The overall level of high-quality agricultural development has shown an increasing trend over the years,with a distinct pattern of North Xinjiang>South Xinjiang>East Xinjiang.
