Research on the Design Strategy and Application of Tiantan Park's Holiday Flower Beds
As a world cultural heritage site and a key national cultural relics protection unit,Tiantan Park is an important heritage site at the southern end of Beijing's central axis. The holiday flower bed,as an important landscape element,has become a key way to showcase Tiantan Park,the image of the capital city and convey goodwill. This article elaborated on the development process of Tiantan Park's holiday flower beds and based on the years of practical experience,summarized and analyzed the application of Tiantan Park's holiday flower beds from the perspectives of design principles,forms,plant material selection and auxiliary material application. At the same time,this paper put forward some suggestions and ideas to provide reference for the future design of Tiantan Park's holiday flower beds.
