This article systematically sorts out the issues of high social concern under the new situation and requirements of various depart-ments,and correctly guides the development direction of forest and grass carbon sinks in Anhui Province.Based on the newly released policy documents,interpret the new methodology of afforestation carbon sequestration and the development process of the CCER,introduce the regis-tration,trading,approval and verification institutions of CCER,and briefly discuss the insights on forest and grass carbon sequestration work.The work of forest and grass carbon sequestration should be viewed calmly.What the country needs is to increase or decrease emissions and in-crease carbon sequestration,recognize the strategic position of forest and grass carbon sequestration,and forest and grass carbon sequestration is a supplementary and regulatory means to achieve the national"dual carbon"goals.The share of resources available for development and trading in forest and grass carbon sinks is very small.Through various channels,we can effectively achieve the expansion and improvement of forest resources and the comprehensive improvement of forest and grass carbon sink capacity in our province.The focus of forest and grass car-bon sink work is to make strategic planning in advance.
