Effect of Different Organic Fertilizers on the Large Animal Community in Sweet Potato Soil During Summer Cultivation of Farm-land
The distribution of soil macrofauna in the soil layer of sweet potatoes planted with three different organic fertilizers for two consecu-tive years in cultivated land was studied, and the diversity of soil macrofauna was analyzed. There were significant differences in soil moisture content under different fertilization treatments in sweet potato fields.Organic fertilizer improved the physical structure of the soil and increased its water storage capacity. The results of a 2-year experiment showed that the application of organic fertilizer caused large soil animals to tend to move towards the middle and lower parts of the soil layer, and Hymenoptera remained the dominant group among different types of large soil an-imals in each fertilizer treatment. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index and evenness index of pig manure commodity organic fertilizer treatment were relatively high. The diversity index and evenness index of the three organic fertilizers were significantly higher than those of the blank treat-ment,and their individual and group numbers were also significantly higher than those of the blank and pure fertilizer treatments. The applica-tion of organic fertilizers improved soil biodiversity and was conducive to the sustainable development of agriculture.
