Using 88 counties in Guizhou Province as the research unit,the spatial distribution characteristics of their economical and intensive land use efficiency were analyzed using the entropy value method and the ArcGIS spatial analysis function.The results showed that the regional differences in economical and intensive land use efficiency in the east and west of Guizhou Province were obvious,and the overall distribution trend was high in the west and low in the east.The distribution of economical and intensive land use efficiency in counties of Guizhou Province had a strong positive spatial correlation.The hotspots were located in Guanshanhu,Wudang,and Baiyun districts of Guiyang City and Hui-chuan,Honghuagang,Bozhou,Renhuai and Suiyang counties of Zunyi City;the cold spots were mainly concentrated and distributed in Shiqian and Jiangkou in the southern part of Tongren,and Shibing and Zhenyuan in the northern part of Qiandongnan Prefecture.
