Acute Toxicity of Pyroxasulfone to Six Environmental Organisms
[Objective]To confirm the acute toxicity of pyroxasulfone to terrestrial organisms.[Method]Tests were conducted according to"Test guidelines on environmental safety assessment for chemical pesticides",GB/T 31270-2014 and"Chemical pesticide-Guideline for natu-ral enemy(ladybird beetles)acute contact toxicity test"NY/T 3088-2017,and to test the acute toxicity of pyroxasulfone to six terrestrial or-ganisms.[Result]20%pyroxasulfone SC for 7 d-LD50 of Coturnix japonica was>2 000.0 mg/kg,4 d-LC50 of Bombyx mori was 2 942.87 mg/L,48 h-LD50 of Apis mellifera L was>100.0 μg/bee,14 d-LC50 of Eisenia foetida was>100 mg/kg;the safety factor of pyroxasulfone to Tri-chogramma japonicun Ashmead and Coccinella septempunctata were 0.803 and 6.927.[Conclusion]The herbicide is low toxicity to C.japoni-ca,B.mori,A.mellifera and A.mellifera, low risk to C.septempunctata, and moderate risk to T.japzonicun Ashmead. So the herbicide is friendly to terrestrial organisms.
