Investigation and Control Strategies of Bamboo Diseases and Pests in Yibin,Sichuan Province
Yibin,as one of the important bamboo production areas in Sichuan Province,has rich bamboo resources.To discover the damages of bamboo caused by pests and diseases,a systematic investigation in Yibin was carried out from 2021 to 2022.The results showed that there were 7 kinds of diseases and 13 kinds of insect pests on bamboo.Bamboo leaf rust that caused by Puccinia phyllostachydis was the dominant disease,the diseases caused by Fumago vagans,Meliola furcata and Phyllachora orbicula were subdominant diseases.Algedonia Coclesalis on bamboo was the dominant insect pest,Cyrtotrachelus buqueti and Stenchaetothrips banhongensis were the subdominant insect pests.Based on the reference materials,some prevention and control measures have been proposed,hoping to provide basic data for the prevention and control of diseases and pests on bamboo in Yibin.
