Effects of Different Fertilization Modes on Leaf Area,Dry Matter Accumulation and Yield of Maize
[Objective]To explore the application effect of fertilization modes in maize planting in Weihai area.[Method]Six different fertili-zation treatments were designed to conduct field experiments:no fertilizer(T1),no nitrogen fertilizer(T2),organic fertilizer(T3),inorganic fertilizer(T4),slow-release fertilizer(T5)and slow-release nitrogen fertilizer(T6).The effects of different fertilization modes on leaf area, dry matter accumulation and yield of maize were studied.[Result]Except T2 treatment, the leaf area of other fertilization treatments was higher than T1,increasing by 12.6%,17.3%,19.2%and 28.1%,respectively in corn opening stage.Fertilizer could promote accumulating the dry matter of maize,slow-release fertilizer treatment was prominent in the filling stage, organic fertilizer affected the accumulation and distribu-tion of dry matter of maize. The yield of slow-release nitrogen fertilizer was 9 871.35 kg/hm2,7.7%and 15.4%higher than that of inorganic fertilizer(T4)and slow-release compound fertilizer(T5),respectively.[Conclusion]Slow-release nitrogen fertilizer combined with conven-tional phosphate and potassium fertilizer is recommended for maize planting in Weihai City.
