There are 275 species of 16 genera in the Maloideae in China.2020 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia includes four kinds of medici-nal materials of Maloideae:Crataegi fructus,Crataegi folium,Chaenomelis fructus and Eriobotryae folium.By analyzing the changes in the standards of the subfamily of Malvaceae medicinal herbs included in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and the situation of traditional Chinese medi-cine preparations containing subfamily of Malvaceae medicinal herbs in the 2020 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia,suggestions for the quality control of traditional Chinese medicine preparations containing subfamily of Malvaceae medicinal herbs were proposed,providing refer-ence for the quality control research of related preparations.
