Effects of Five Common Pesticides on the Growth of Orius sauteri
[Objective]To understand the effect of pesticides on the growth of Orius sauteri.[Method]The eggs of Orius sauteri were treated with five common pesticides by impregnation method.[Result]The eggs of the Orius sauteri, which were treated with 2%matrine aqueous solu-tion,430 g/L tebuconazole suspension concentrate and 30%hymexazol aqueous solution respectively, could hatch and grow normally.Al-though the eggs of the Orius sauteri treated with 10%chlorfenapyr suspension concentrate could hatch normally, the nymph survival rate signif-icantly decreased within their eggs hatching 48 hours(P<0.05).The hatching rate of the eggs of the Orius sauteri treated with 20%dinotefuran water soluble graule was significantly lower than that of the blank control group and other treatment groups(P<0.05),and the nymph survival rate was also significantly decreased within their eggs hatching 48 hours(P<0.05).[Conclusion]During the release of the Orius sauteri in the field,it is necessary to strictly control the spraying of chlorfenapyr and dinotefuran to avoid affecting their growth.
