Camellia oleifera Abel, one of the world's foremost oil-producing plants, holds significant economic value.Guangxi Province is a traditional area for Camellia oleifera Abel cultivation in China. With the continuous expansion of planting area in recent years, the problem of Camellia oleifera Abel pest infestation has become increasingly prominent. Our research focused on identifying pest species affecting two varie-ties in the Guangxi National Qinlian Forest Farm. The findings indicated the presence of 41 distinct pests damaging Camellia osmantha and 28 damaging Camellia oleifera.Notably,15 of these pests were common to both varieties, constituting 28.3%of the total pest count.Drawing upon the observed characteristics of pest damage and their patterns of occurrence, corresponding control measures were proposed, with a view to providing valuable insights into pest management strategies for Camellia oleifera Abel cultivation, extending beyond the confines of Guangxi Province.
